ADSL (Asymmetric digital subscriber line) is a type of DSL (digital subscriber line technology) , a data communications technology that enables faster data transmission over telephone lines. Providers usually know the ADSL as a service for consumers to be able to use the higher speed direction for the download from the Internet.
