The Flash Memory is a type of memory used in plenty of devices (cameras , mp3s, smart phones...etc). It's an evolution of EEPROM (Electrically Erasable Programmable Read-Only Memory), and they allow multiple memory positions (write or delete)in the same action. That's why this memories works at high velocities.
