What is a 3D printer?
A 3D printer is a printing device that enables you to print 3D designs made by a computer and it tranforms it into a phisical 3D design. The 3D printer builds different layers successively until it completes the object.
TYPES OF 3D PRINTERS
-Addition 3D printers: Known to use layers of various materials.
-Compaction 3D printers: A mass of powder is compacted in layers and they come in two types, these are the use of ink or the use of a laser.
USES
They have many uses nowadays, and they will get used more in the future. 3D printers are usually used for creating geometrical figures,making food, prothesis or uses in the fashion world. It's said that these printers could be used more in the near future for architecture (building industry) and even in the health service (synthetic implants).
